Matter DeFi is a yield farming platform aimed to incentivize providing liquidity on SpicySwap DEX. Users may stake SpicySwap LP Tokens to earn the protocol token MTTR. Matter DeFi's flagship feature is the contract-level automatic buyback and burn of the MTTR token.
Automatic buyback ensures that there is lasting buy pressure for MTTR, leading to truly sustainable yields. All fees generated on staking and unstaking are used to buyback the MTTR token on SpicySwap.

TVL counts the liquidity of both Matter Core & Matter Live farms. Tokens held in Matter's contract are pulled from TZKT API & relevant pool data is retrieved using SpicySwap API: https://spicya.sdaotools.xyz/api/rest.
If a contract or vault isn't in this list, its balance does not contribute to the TVL displayed on Mantapex or DeFiLlama.
Matter Defi tokenomics and on-chain capital
A further $1.4K sits in the protocol's native staking modules — these deposits are typically locked, vote-bonded, or earning a share of fees, and they reduce the freely circulating float that can hit the market.
