About Babylon Finance

Babylon is a community-led asset management protocol that enables users to invest in DeFi together. It's built on the Ethereum network and it's non-custodial, transparent, permission-less, and governed by the community. Babylonians can create investment communities (called 'Gardens') and invite people to deposit capital.

Members participate in the garden by joining the telegram chat, suggesting investment Strategies and voting on Strategies. Members receive rewards based on their contributions.

How Babylon Finance's TVL is measured

DeFiLlama publishes the exact rules used to aggregate on-chain balances into the headline TVL figure shown on this page. The methodology below is the team's own source-of-truth description.

TVL of Babylon corresponds to capital locked into each garden (idle capital waiting to be deployed) as well as capital deployed to each strategy of these gardens

If a contract or vault isn't in this list, its balance does not contribute to the TVL displayed on Mantapex or DeFiLlama.

Babylon Finance tokenomics and on-chain capital

Babylon Finance's governance or utility token carries a market capitalisation of $416.3 based on circulating supply at the latest DeFiLlama snapshot. The token's market cap ($416.3) is small relative to deposits secured by the protocol ($125K); a mcap/TVL multiple of 0.00× is sometimes read as a discount, though it can also reflect minimal fee accrual to the token.

Protocol Footprint

Babylon Finance is a single-chain protocol, deployed exclusively on Ethereum — this concentrates execution risk but simplifies the trust model. Only one audit report is currently listed; users should weigh that against the protocol's TVL before depositing significant amounts. Its token market cap ($416.3) is small relative to TVL ($125K) — a mcap/TVL ratio of 0.00 is often read as the token being structurally undervalued versus the activity it secures.
