USP is a yield-optimized stablecoin governed by PikuDAO. It launches fully backed 1:1 by USD-denominated stablecoins, and over time the backing is diversified into a basket of on-chain and off-chain yield-generating assets. The yield from these assets increases the underlying value of USP, allowing it to appreciate above its initial $1.00 launch value. USP functions as a savings-oriented asset with simplified access.

TVL is calculated by multiplying USP stablecoin's total supply with its oracle price (getPriceForIssuance). The oracle price is manually updated and reflects the yield-bearing value of USP backed by USDC.
