About Abyss
Abyss Protocol is a margin trading platform on Sui powered by DeepBook. Users can deposit assets into vaults to earn yield by providing liquidity for margin traders, or trade with leverage using the supplied liquidity. Abyss combines deep liquidity with efficient capital utilization for seamless on-chain leveraged trading

How Abyss's TVL is measured

TVL is calculated by summing the underlying assets held in each Abyss vault. Vault shares in DeepBook margin pools are converted to underlying asset amounts using the pool's exchange rate (total_supply / supply_shares), which accounts for accrued interest over time.
If a contract or vault isn't in this list, its balance does not contribute to the TVL displayed on Mantapex or DeFiLlama.
