Some DEXs use traditional order book matching, offering limit orders and more familiar trading mechanics.
Cross-Chain
Modern DEXs support trading across multiple chains, using bridges or native cross-chain protocols.
Trading Fees
DEX fees typically range from 0.01% to 1%, with fees distributed to liquidity providers and sometimes protocol treasuries.
Slippage
The difference between expected and executed price, especially important for large trades in low-liquidity pools.
Liquidity Mining
Many DEXs incentivize liquidity providers with additional token rewards on top of trading fees.
