What is Polymarket?
Polymarket is a prediction market built on blockchain infrastructure. Markets are settled in the USDC stablecoin, and you trade by connecting a crypto wallet rather than a traditional brokerage account.
How Polymarket works
Each market asks a yes/no question about a future event. You buy shares in the outcome you expect; if you're right, each share pays out a fixed amount at resolution. Prices move between buyers and sellers until the event resolves.
How prices and odds work
A share's price (between $0 and $1) reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome. A price of $0.65 means the market prices the outcome at roughly a 65% chance. Winning shares settle at $1; losing shares settle at $0.
Is Polymarket legal?
Polymarket is a crypto-settled platform that operates globally, and access and legality depend on your jurisdiction. It has historically restricted US users. Always check the rules that apply where you live before trading.
For US regulatory context, see the CFTC: cftc.gov
How to track your Polymarket positions
Connect your Polymarket wallet to Mantapex to see all your positions and live P&L in one read-only dashboard — alongside your crypto portfolio.
Track your Polymarket positionsPolymarket vs Kalshi
Polymarket and Kalshi both let you trade event outcomes, but they differ in regulation and settlement. Polymarket is crypto-settled and global, while Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated US exchange.
