About Jolt
Jolt Finance is a permissionless Aave V2 style lending and borrowing protocol on Optimism, enabling users to supply assets for yield or borrow against collateral. It is security-focused, restricts smart contracts from borrowing, employs conservative risk parameters, and uses multisig-controlled, timelocked governance for upgrades. Users also earn reward tokens that provide protocol revenue share.

How Jolt's TVL is measured
DeFiLlama publishes the exact rules used to aggregate on-chain balances into the headline TVL figure shown on this page. The methodology below is the team's own source-of-truth description.
Counts the tokens locked in the contracts to be used as collateral to borrow or to earn yield. Borrowed coins are not counted towards the TVL, so only the coins actually locked in the contracts are counted. There's multiple reasons behind this but one of the main ones is to avoid inflating the TVL through cycled lending.
If a contract or vault isn't in this list, its balance does not contribute to the TVL displayed on Mantapex or DeFiLlama.
